Horses are hitting the Google search engine page today, via a Google Doodle that celebrates Eadweard Muybridge’s 182nd birthday, using his famous ‘equine locomotion’ series that proved the sequence of movements in a horse’s gallop. It’s information we take for granted now, but in the late 1800s it was a radical notion.
